Background
Kylan is a current PhD student in the CEE program at Colorado School of Mines. He received his computational biology bachelor’s degree from UCLA, with a background in environmental remediation projects and research. In the Strathmann group, Kylan’s current research involves using UV light to reduce and mineralize per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in environmental water samples. Outside of academics, Kylan enjoys basketball, pickleball, skiing, and chess.
