Jie Yu is an assistant professor in Department of Environmental Engineering at Ningbo University, and is currently a visiting scholar at the Colorado School of Mines. Her research interests include: (i) activated sludge dewatering and reuse, (ii) fate and removal of emerging micropollutants (e.g., pharmaceuticals) in the aquatic environment and activated sludge, and (iii) reutilization of municipal solid waste, e.g., the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF).
